Our story

Our dad, Mike Neal started building custom wood doors in our garage over twenty years ago in La Mirada, California. Although the machines were loud, and sawdust was everywhere, he created many beautiful wood products. One of his favorite lines is “I love the smell of sawdust in the morning.” Who would have thought that dad’s “little experiment” would turned into one of the country’s premier door manufacturers. Although dad is no longer with us, we remain committed to his vision.

Today, Ranch House Doors manufactures wooden front entry doors, garage doors, swing out carriage style garage doors entry doors and gates, pedestrian gates, interior doors, closet sliders, and even window shutters – all with national distribution and a custom design staff to help you walk through the process. We know Dad would be proud of our achievements.

Our dad’s vision has given us the privilege of helping others make their homes warm and beautiful while not compromising details or functions. Dad was one of the pioneers in the revival of handcrafted wooden carriage garage doors. At Ranch House Doors we combine the architectural refinement and authentic appearance of carriage doors with state of the art manufacturing and modern construction processes that continues to lead the industry.

Over the years, Ranch House Doors has continued to be the leader in innovative designs and engineering. We have introduced over a dozen unique designs to the market place. Our latest product line include an environmentally-friendly polymer composite faux wood garage door that is designed to look like real wood, but with added durability. Unlike real wood, our faux wood garage door requires less upkeep. The Elements Collection product line is comparable to our competitor faux wood garage doors like the Martin Chalet, Fatezzi and Clopay Canyon Ridge.

We specialize in creating customized products based on your vision. We help your vision come to life. At Ranch House Doors we continue to live by Dad’s motto, “If you can think it we can build it.” Ranch House Doors remains committed to making your ideas come to life and we are honored to have the opportunity to make your home truly unique.
